[P] Automatic Transmission As Learner Car in Future

Starting from the month of May, 2012. Due to the rise of more and more Automatic Transmission Vehicle on the road, Driving schools will be providing Automatic Transmission Vehicle as the learning car for those who want to take their P License.

Besides that, there are pros and cons for this situation. For those who learn and take tests in automatic cars will be issued an automatic transmission driving licence and will not be allowed to drive manual cars. However, those holding the manual transmission driving licence can drive automatic transmission cars.

Hopefully this implementation of the new driving standards can increase the safety driving elements and produce more disciplined and ethical drivers on the road in future.

SAAB Automobile Declares Bankruptcy

Saab Automobile, is not sharing any good news with everyone throughout the nation as the company will voluntary declare bankruptcy which happens on Monday, 19th December 2011.

That's not all, the warranty that covers all its vehicle in North America has been suspended and the suspension came into effect with the same day the company declare bankruptcy and it was also approved by swedish court. The GM of the company will try to cover the warranties of the vehicle that sold to the other countries.

Is it a good news or a bad news to all the SAAB Automobile enthusiast. To me, there's not a good thing when a Automotive maker has to shut down or close down its own business as it might affect a lot of people. Hope it is the right move for SAAB on doing such decision.

Formula Drift Malaysia 2011

Formula Drift Asia Round 3 which is in Malaysia has finally over and for those who does not know what's going on or who is the WINNER for this Event, you should check out the video that I have published above yeah. The first and second place was from Japan and the Third place is from Thailand, unfortunately Malaysia did not have the chance to be in the Podium but they did their best though, cheers for them. Every driver around Asia Region gather together and compete in a Drift competition to fight for the Title but this Round is conquer by the 2010 Defending Champion and both the top 2 drivers are from Japan.

Proton Exora Bold & Prime: You'll be Amazed is now Available!!

This all new Proton Exora is powered with 1.6L Charged Fuel Efficiency (CFE) Engine that can performs just as well as a 2.0L engine. This CFE engine puts out 138 hp at 5,000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm from 1.6 litres. Not only that, this engine is Paired to a CVT G/box, and this car can easily perform a top speed of 185 km/h and 0-100 km/h can be done in 13.3 seconds. 

Claimed Fuel Consumption (FC) is 7.8l / 100 km. This is really impressing as I count using my calculator and it gets as below:-

Ron95 (Rm 1.90) = Rm 0.15 / km

Ron97 (Rm 2.70) = Rm 0.21 / km

Check out the all new Curvier bumpers and skirting that creates a more commanding presence. Guess proton have some sportier look mpv in the making huh. That's not all, it also comes with a 16" alloy rims project a sportier look.

This newly designed Exora does have a makeover at the rear which is the all new Rear smoked combi-lamps styled with a sports cars lookalike.

One fascinating feature in this car is the Illuminating Meters whereby it gives you a clearer driving info with the Bright easy-to-read meter fascia.
